8015: Alpaca jumps over fence and escapes enclosure in China

On October 27, 2022, in Hebei province, located in northern China, a video captured an alpaca suddenly escaping from an enclosure. Inside the fenced area, the alpaca rushed quickly toward the edge. It then pushed off with its legs and jumped over the fence in one smooth movement. After clearing the barrier, the alpaca landed outside and reached the road. The escape happened so easily that the fence appeared almost useless. Chinese netizens joked that the fence could only stop people from entering, but could not stop the alpaca from leaving. Some said the animal may have felt bored in the small enclosure and wanted to get some fresh air.
