Security was increased at the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission office in Calcutta, India, today as riots spread across the neighbouring country and the Prime Minister fled.
The move came after the bloodiest day of the clashes so far, in which at least 90 demonstrators were killed on Sunday. It has been the worst violence the South Asian country has seen since it came into being in 1971 and saw Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina flee the country in a helicopter.
