Protesters burn controversial Philippine president's effigy ahead of national speech

Student activists and labour groups burned a sculpture of the controversial leader - branded 'Big Bootlicker Marcos' - as they slammed several of his policies along a major thoroughfare in Quezon City, Manila on July 24 morning.
