Footage shows rescuers struggling to move through the Langtang Hydropower Project in Rasuwa on September 1.
Rescue teams later reached between tens of metres and around 185m inside the tunnel. At least one body was reportedly recovered.
The Nepal floods disaster struck on August 26, triggering severe flooding and causing major damage to roads and buildings.
The US Geological Survey reported a magnitude 4.4 quake near the Nepal-China border at 8:37 am local time.
Around the same time, a mass of ice and rock swept down the mountainside and crashed into the Lhende Khola River, a tributary of the Bhote Koshi River that flows from China into Nepal.
Authorities later clarified that the shaking was not caused by an earthquake but by the powerful landslide itself. The event registered as the equivalent of a magnitude 5.2 tremor.
Reports said the combined death toll had risen to 1,003, with 4,462 people still missing, including 844 foreigners.
