Walls and ceilings damaged inside home in Granada following earthquake

A Granada resident captured the aftermath of the ongoing seismic swarm affecting the area since August 14. The footage shows cracks appearing along walls, plaster scattered across floors and stairs, and household items displaced inside the home. The Granada area has experienced hundreds of aftershocks, following two magnitude 4.8 earthquakes recorded near Alhendín and Gójar. Many of the tremors have been relatively shallow. The footage offers a glimpse of the visible impact inside homes across the Granada metropolitan area, where authorities have also carried out building inspections amid reports of evacuations and limited injuries.
