Passengers wearing life jackets crowded onto the deck of a burning ferry as flames erupted just metres behind them during a fire at sea in Indonesia.

Footage shows hundreds of travellers wearing orange life jackets gathered on the open deck of the KMP Mutiara Sentosa 2 as thick clouds of smoke billow from the ferry behind them off Sumenep Regency, near Madura Island.
