Panicked locals ran for safety as loose soil began cascading down a hillside in India.

Footage shows soil and debris trickling down the slope onto the pathway below, causing residents to retreat from the area as the hillside became increasingly unstable in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, on July 6.
