Lucky pensioner escapes being crushed while chasing hat across road

This is the miraculous moment a lucky pensioner cheats death after a gust of wind blows away his straw hat, luring him from his tricycle just seconds before it is smashed by an oncoming vehicle.

CCTV footage, captured by a residential security camera belonging to a resident, Ms Zhang, shows the man, said to be in his 70s, pulling up beside roadside bins before getting off his three-wheeled vehicle to collect empty bottles and other recyclable waste in China.
