Two Americans were killed in clashes between troops and communist rebels in the Philippines.
Lyle Prijoles, 40, and Kai Dana Rene Sorem, 26, were reportedly volunteering for local farming communities when they were caught in a gunfight between soldiers and suspected members of the communist New People's Army (NPA) in Negros Occidental.
