The Haoe Lead Fire scorched more than 3,000 acres in North Carolina after burning for over 11 days.
The fire was burning in the Joyce Kilmer-Slickrock Wilderness Area in the Nantahala National Forest, around seven miles west of Robbinsville in Graham County.
