The Titicaca giant frog, known for its distinctive appearance with wrinkled skin, can breathe through its skin, researchers claim.
Studies conducted by Schonbrunn Zoo in collaboration with Brown University, published in 'Behavioural Processes,' claim that the frogs initially reduced their activity in oxygen-deprived environments simulated with nitrogen gas in zoo test tanks.
