Robot skeleton could help stroke survivors walk again, claim researchers

Researchers at the University of Massachusetts Amherst claim to have developed a unique robotic hip exoskeleton to aid stroke patients in achieving faster recovery.
They said the technology aims to enhance walking function in stroke survivors, as more than 80 per cent of patients struggle with walking difficulties, significantly affecting their daily lives and overall quality of life.
