Endangered fin whale population discovered in New York

A recent study conducted by the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) has shed light on the presence and distribution of endangered fin whales in the waters off New York and New Jersey.
The study, published in the journal 'Scientific Reports' analysed fin whale song patterns in the New York Bight, ranging from Montauk, NY to Cape May, NJ.
