Dozens of tourists stranded when fire breaks out on cliff at Bali beach
Published date: Wed, 02 Aug 2023 13:06:36 +0700Tourists were stranded when a fire broke out on a cliff overlooking the iconic Kelingking Beach in Bali, Indonesia on Sunday, July 30.
The blaze began at the cliff's base at around 4:30 pm local time and rapidly spread upward, fanned by strong winds blowing onto shore. It razed shrubs and bushes, and threatened to engulf the steep stairway providing tourists access to the beach.
