A hero tourist from New Zealand was allegedly shot dead by armed robbers for defending his girlfriend.

Nicholas Peter Stacey, 34, or Nick to loved ones, had just returned from a dream island trip with his partner Pamela Villanoza when he was walking to a shop and a motorcycle pulled over next to the couple in Makati City, the Philippines on February 19 evening.
