This stunning video of a Jesus apparition was trending this month, having been featured by publishers around the world.
Onlooker Aya Miranda recorded the clip in Naga City, the Philippines, and uploaded her footage to ViralPress. It was then licensed to newspapers and broadcasters including New York Post, Fox News, Metro, GMA News and more! That all earned Aya extra money for selling her video to the media.
A divine spectacle
The video shows something incredible - Jesus appearing in the clouds right after a church service. Catholics had gathered in a field near a church called the Basilica Minore of Our Lady of Penafrancia.
They were singing hymns when suddenly, a bright, white shape appeared above them. It clearly looked like a person with arms open wide, just like how Jesus is often shown in murals and portraits around the world. Even the long hair behind its head looked like traditional pictures of Christ.
Eyewitnesses were in awe
Aya was there for the event, which was part of a big meeting for young people called National Youth Day.
She recorded the video using her Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max. The metadata from her video file and camera roll proved that the footage was genuine. And if that wasn’t enough, several other devotees recorded the same scene.
They included Angelica Palma who recorded the Jesus cloud from a different angle. The distinctive shape of the Lord was still clearly visible.
Aya said that earlier that morning, the sky was dark and looked like it would rain any second.
But as the church service went on, the rain held off. "Then something powerful happened," she said.
More than 8,000 people were there, lighting candles and praying. Aya said that many who were there ‘couldn't help but believe it was more than just a chance event’.
She added: ‘It was a reminder that faith brings people together, and heaven listens.’
