Residents worked together to save a house being swept away by floods as super typhoon Rai lashed the Philippines.

Video taken in Cagayan de Oro City in Misamis Oriental province on December 16 shows the brave locals using ropes to haul the small cottage back to safety. They managed to keep it from being carried away by the deluge, but were unable to save a neighboring house that was submerged in the water.
