Electric car battery explodes outside shop in China

This is the terrifying moment an electric car battery exploded in front of a shop in China.

CCTV footage shows the battery bursting into flames after catching fire and sending smoke into the air in Wuhu, Anhui province on October 27. Nearby customers fled as the battery spluttered and shook then started to spew orange flames.
