Dozens of residents evacuated as typhoon Kompasu hit the Philippines

At least 95 locals, including 23 children and an infant, were rescued in northwestern Luzon island in the Philippines as severe tropical storm Kompasu, locally known as Maring, drenched the archipelago on October 11.
Footage shows the Philippine Coast Guard conducting rescue operations in La Union and Ilocos Sur provinces on Monday.
