House submerged in waist-deep flood during typhoon Kompasu in the Philippines

A house was submerged in waist-deep water as severe tropical storm Kompasu pummeled the Philippines.

Footage shows a family moving furniture and household plants to the second storey after their house in La Union province was inundated with water on October 11. The flood reportedly reached thigh level within an hour due to the intensity of the rain.
