Worker killed after wooden scaffolding collapses in Hong Kong

A female worker was killed after a wooden scaffolding collapsed in a residential district in Hong Kong on Friday morning.

The woman was crushed by the debris as the bamboo scaffold next to a high-rise in Happy Valley fell onto Broadwood Road below on October 8 morning. She was found unconscious by firefighters and rushed to a hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
