Heavy rain and ice fall in Dalian International Airport

Heavy rain and ice fell at an airport in China early causing flight cancellations and damaging aircraft.

Video filmed from the Dalian International Airport in Liaoning province on October 2 shows hail showering the tarmac while lightning flashed intermittently. The hailstorm had also shattered the windshield of a parked vehicle. Locals said some hailstones were larger than eggs.
