Graphic: Taliban hang alleged kidnapper's corpse on crane

Taliban law enforcers publicly hung the corpse of an alleged kidnapper on Saturday in a gruesome display meant to deter crime in Afghanistan.

Harrowing footage shows the Taliban hoisting the man's limp, bloodied body using a crane in Herat City on September 25. A note saying 'This is the punishment for kidnapping' was attached to his chest. The bodies of three other men, also said to be kidnappers, were sent to different parts of the city to be displayed.
