This is the scary moment a rechargeable electric bike battery exploded and burst into flames inside an office in China.

CCTV footage shows a female cleaner tidying the room in the morning before workers arrived. She then placed the battery next to a glass door in the commercial building in Xuhui, Shanghai on September 22.
