Typhoon Chanthu triggers expressway closure in China

An expressway was closed to traffic on Monday as Typhoon Chanthu heads towards China's eastern coast.

CCTV footage shows the empty The G9211 Ningbo-Zhoushan expressway in coastal Zhejiang province being drenched by rain on September 13. The cross-sea bridge was closed to ensure traffic safety ahead of the storm's expected landfall on eastern China, according to Zhejiang transportation officials.
