Afghans crowd hotel near Kabul airport hours before explosions

Hundreds of Afghans crowded a hotel near an airport in Kabul to try and board planes leaving Afghanistan on August 26 just hours before two explosions rocked the international terminal.

Footage shows the people gathering at the Baron Hotel near the Hamid Karzai International Airport, where panicked locals have been flocking since the Taliban takeover of the country last August 15. The hotel was later bombed by Islamist extremists, along with the airport's Abbey Gate.
