A woman was stabbed and then burned alive by her jealous ex-boyfriend before the fire spread through 15 homes in their neighbourhood.

Margill Miranda, 43, was resting with her husband Miguel in their house when her former lover barged into the room carrying a machete knife in Bulacan province, the Philippines on August 7.
