Dugong surprises diver with underwater hug during close encounter in Timor-Leste

A dugong swam up to a diver and pressed its body against him in what appeared to be an affectionate underwater hug in Timor-Leste.

Footage captured on October 5 shows the marine mammal approaching the man as he explores beneath the surface.
