Heavy Rain in Puri as Cyclone Arnab Triggers Waterlogging on Grand Road; Authorities on High Alert

Heavy rainfall continues to lash Puri in Odisha under the influence of Cyclone Arnab, causing waterlogging along Bada Danda, the city’s iconic Grand Road.

Several stretches of the road have been inundated, with waterlogging reported around Marichikot Square, Balagandi Square and the area in front of Raj Nahar. Authorities have deployed heavy-duty motor pumps at key locations to drain accumulated rainwater and manage the situation.
