Long Queues at Polling Stations in Belgrade as Voters Turn Out for Elections

Long queues were seen at polling stations across Belgrade on October 25 as voters turned out to cast their ballots in the election. Many voters expressed support for the Student List, a political movement that emerged from student-led anti-corruption protests following the 2024 Novi Sad railway station canopy collapse. The movement fielded 250 non-student professionals selected through assemblies to challenge the ruling Serbian Progressive Party led by President Aleksandar Vučić. Video Credit: Jakub Krzywiecki
