Heavy hail has blanketed parts of Bogotá, Colombia, turning courtyards and streets white and creating scenes that looked more like winter than the Colombian capital.

The hailstorm struck on October 5, with areas including Engativá, Kennedy, Suba and Fontibón affected by intense rain, hail and flooding.
