Firefighter Swings Through Fast-Moving Water To Rescue Man From Las Vegas Tunnel

Las Vegas, Nevada – A Clark County firefighter swung through fast-moving water Monday night, September 28, to rescue a man who had fallen from a bridge into a drainage tunnel in the east Las Vegas Valley.
The rescue happened around 10:04 p.m. near Twain Avenue and Eastern Avenue. The rescuer, wearing a yellow helmet and red life vest, was lowered into the concrete channel on a blue rope and reached the man, who was partly in the water.
