Large crowds gather in Paris as Eiffel Tower turns pink for Pink October

Large crowds gathered near the Eiffel Tower in Paris on September 30, 2026, as the landmark was illuminated in pink to mark the launch of Pink October, France’s annual breast cancer awareness campaign. The footage shows the Eiffel Tower glowing pink at night, with a densely packed crowd watching the illumination and holding up their phones to capture the scene. The Eiffel Tower was lit in pink from 8pm until midnight as part of the campaign, which promotes breast cancer awareness, prevention and screening.
