Housing Rights Protesters Set Up Tents In Santander's Plaza Porticada

Protesters have set up tents in Santander's historic Plaza Porticada as part of an ongoing housing rights demonstration.

The protest, which began on September 28, was organised by the Sindicato de Estudiantes and joined by the Sindicato de Vivienda. Demonstrators are calling for stronger tenant protections, with signs reading “NI GENTE SIN CASA NI CASAS SIN GENTE” — “No people without homes, no homes without people.”
