One man has died following an explosion at Clifton Mount in Rotherham on September 29.
Police and emergency services responded to the incident, with officers seen at the scene and a residential street cordoned off with police tape. Tactical support vehicles were also present as emergency crews secured the area.
Residents were initially prevented from returning to their homes while emergency services assessed the situation.
South Yorkshire Police and fire services later said the incident was a household accident and was not connected to the gas network. Authorities said there was no wider risk to the public.
