Jungfraujoch, Switzerland – New England Patriots kicker Adam Vinatieri set a Guinness World Record by making a field goal at an altitude of 11,317 feet and 8 inches.

Vinatieri attempted the 33-yard kick Tuesday at Jungfraujoch, a Swiss Alps saddle known as the Top of Europe. The stunt was organized by the Patriots to promote the team’s upcoming game against the Detroit Lions at Allianz Arena in Munich.
