A powerful water geyser erupted from a manhole onto a road in Yokohama, Japan, amid heavy rain on September 21. The incident occurred as intense rainfall from Typhoon No. 25 overwhelmed the drainage system, causing stormwater to surge up through the manhole. Cars were seen driving through the water and spray on the flooded road. Yokohama recorded 53 mm of rainfall in one hour, while heavy rain and landslide warnings were issued across Kanagawa and surrounding areas.
