Gas Explosion Sends Massive Smoke Plume Into Sky in Nara, Japan

A gas explosion at an LP gas container inspection facility in Nara City, Japan, sent a massive plume of white smoke into the sky on September 17.

The blast reportedly blew off part of the facility’s roof and exterior walls. Nine employees who were at the site were unharmed.
