Dramatic CCTV Captures School Van Overturning in Ghaziabad, Four Children Escape Unhurt

A school van carrying four children narrowly escaped a major accident in Ghaziabad’s Vijay Nagar area on Thursday morning. The incident took place at around 7:30 AM near Sen Chowk, when the van, carrying students headed to DAV Public School in Pratap Vihar, suddenly lost control and overturned onto the service road. Dramatic CCTV footage shows the van veering off the road before crashing into a tree and coming to a stop. Four children, reportedly around 13 to 14 years old, were inside the vehicle at the time. Fortunately, none of them sustained injuries in the accident, and all four children were safely taken to school after their parents were informed. The van, bearing registration number DL 12 CJ 8912, was being driven by 35-year-old Lakhan, a resident of the Crossings area, according to the information provided. It has also been clarified that the vehicle was not a school-owned van. The children's parents had arranged the private vehicle among themselves for transporting the children to school. Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the van losing control. No casualties or injuries have been reported.
