Rescuers Battle Through Flooded Nepal Tunnels In Ongoing Search Operation

Rasuwa–Nuwakot, Nepal – Rescue teams are continuing efforts to search flooded hydropower tunnels after the August 26 glacial-collapse flood buried multiple tunnels in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli valley.

The Nepal Army, Armed Police, Nepal Police and foreign technical teams have been pumping sludge and probing tunnels including Upper Trishuli-1, Trishuli-3A, Trishuli-3B, Langtang, Chilime and Rasuwagadhi.
