A 7-Eleven store and its parking lot were submerged in muddy floodwater in Oamishirasato, Chiba, Japan, following heavy rain on September 7. A light-coloured van could be seen surrounded by floodwater in the parking area, while roads and nearby businesses were also affected. The area had reportedly suffered flooding just weeks earlier, with a neighbouring ramen restaurant facing another setback after recently recovering from the previous inundation.
