Video Shows Amazon Prime Air Cargo Plane Overrunning Runway at Miami Airport, Bursting Into Flames

Dramatic footage captured by Venezuelan pilot @ramiroym shows the moments after an Amazon Prime Air Boeing 767-300F operated by 21 Air overran Runway 30 at Miami International Airport on September 6. Flight 7598 had arrived from San Juan, Puerto Rico, when the aircraft ran beyond the runway, crossed the airport perimeter and struck multiple vehicles before coming to a stop and catching fire. At least five people were killed and five others injured, including three who were critically injured, according to local officials. The pilot and co-pilot were among those trapped inside the aircraft during the emergency response. More than 60 Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units responded to the scene as thick smoke and flames rose from the aircraft. The crash temporarily disrupted operations at Miami International Airport, while the NTSB and FAA launched investigations into the cause of the runway overrun.
