A severe thunderstorm battered Toronto on September 2, bringing torrential rain, powerful winds and extremely poor visibility across the Greater Toronto Area. Footage filmed by @likimtheonlyone from indoors in the Lawrence area captures intense rain sweeping across the street, while strong winds whip trees and send debris flying. The storm also brought hail and caused widespread disruption across the GTA, with flooding, road closures on major routes including the DVP and Gardiner, power outages and damage to structures reported.
