Car Crashes Into Electricity Pole, Security Guard Has Narrow Escape in Kerala’s Kozhikode

Dramatic CCTV footage from August 26 shows a car suddenly losing control in Kadiyangad, near Perambra in Kerala’s Kozhikode district. The vehicle veers off the road and crashes directly into an electricity pole, just metres away from a security guard who is seated nearby. The impact sends the guard tumbling from his chair as the car comes to a sudden stop. The guard appears to escape without serious injury. People nearby and passing motorists can be seen reacting immediately after the crash. Local reports identified the location as Kadiyangad, an area near Perambra in Kozhikode district. The road forms part of the Kadiyangad–Perambra route, where the incident caused a brief scene of panic.
