A female tour guide was leading a group of tourists to view wild elephants at a remote grassland area in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. Suddenly, she noticed one of the wild elephants making a move as if it intended to walk closer to them to cross over to the other side. She slowly stepped backward to maintain a safe distance from the elephant.
However, at that exact moment, another group of tourists walked out from the wildlife observation tower area. Unaware of the wild elephant, they failed to hear the warnings shouted from a distance. Fortunately, park rangers stationed nearby acted swiftly, rushing over to push the tourists away from the elephant's path. Spotting the crowd and likely startled by the shouting, the elephant charged toward the tourists to defend its territory. The rangers urgently guided the group which included elderly visitors to run to safety. Thanks to the prompt action of the park staff, everyone made it out just in time without any injuries.
