Rare Tornado Leaves Trail of Destruction in Pomas, France

A rare and intense tornado tore through the village of Pomas in southern France on August 24, leaving widespread destruction in its wake. Handheld footage shows roofs ripped apart, trees uprooted, vehicles damaged and debris scattered across rain-soaked streets after the tornado struck at around 5:20 PM. The powerful storm affected around 300 homes and caused power outages across the area. At least 39 people were injured, with two reportedly in critical condition and several others taken to hospital.
