Dashcam Captures Intense Flames As Blind Hollow Fire Spreads Along Utah’s Logan Canyon

Dramatic dashcam footage captured intense flames and thick smoke as the Blind Hollow Fire burned along US-89 South in Logan Canyon, Utah. The footage, recorded at around 6:32 p.m. on August 23, shows a black pickup truck driving through the smoke as flames rapidly spread across trees and brush near Temple Fork. The wildfire burned an estimated 15 to 20 acres and prompted the full closure of US-89 through the canyon. Fire crews later worked to contain the blaze, with rain helping firefighting efforts.
