Dramatic CCTV Captures Bus Crash Near Cuttack Toll Gate

A dramatic CCTV camera captured the terrifying moment a passenger bus crashed near the Bandal Toll Gate on National Highway-16 in Odisha’s Cuttack district. The ‘Sri Ganesh’ bus was travelling from Jajpur towards Bhubaneswar with more than 40 passengers reportedly on board. As the bus approached the toll gate, it suddenly veered off its path and slammed into the toll gate divider with significant force. The impact sent the bus off the road, leaving passengers inside facing a frightening situation. Several people were injured in the crash. At least 10 passengers reportedly sustained injuries, while two of them are said to be in critical condition. The critically injured passengers were rushed to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for treatment. Other injured passengers were also taken for medical attention. The CCTV footage captures the suddenness of the crash, as the bus can be seen approaching the toll area before losing control and colliding with the divider. The exact cause of the accident has not yet been established. Authorities are expected to examine the circumstances leading up to the crash as part of the investigation.
