A tense confrontation broke out outside Minneapolis City Hall on August 22 during a rally calling for the resignation of Mayor Jacob Frey. Footage filmed by Patricia Eguino shows chaotic scenes outside the building, with crowds moving around metal barriers and vehicles as tensions escalated between rally participants and counter-protesters. Eguino alleged that members of Jake Lang's group used bear spray on her and other counter-protesters during the confrontation. Lang, a pardoned January 6 participant, has been involved in several contentious demonstrations and clashes with counter-protesters in Minneapolis.
