Gujarat: Dilapidated Water Tank Collapses in Wrong Direction During Demolition, Damages Houses and Shops

A demolition operation in Hirapar village of Tankara taluka, Morbi district, went wrong when a nearly 20-year-old, 50,000-litre water tank collapsed in the wrong direction. ([The Blunt Times][1])

The tank fell onto a nearby residential area, damaging a house and a shop and sending a large cloud of dust into the air. The incident occurred while the old, unused structure was being brought down in a controlled demolition.
